Initial Setup
eBusiness System is built for small business with rich features. You may customize any part of the website as you wish. Before jumping right in, be sure to explore Admin thoroughly and understand how you can setup items, categories, custom pages, etc.

There is no right or wrong way to setup your website, but you should put thought into it, so you end up with a well organized website.
Some features may not activate depend on the package you purchase. Please check the feature list of your ordered package.
Below is a checklist of the most common "First Steps"

1. Domain (your website name or URL):
When you subscribe the service, a temporary domain will be provided. If you need your own domain, you can register at www.sportname.com. If you register your domain at www.sportname.com, you can choose the default name server at the domain control panel same as below. Otherwise you need to change the DNS of your domain as below.

Name Server:
ns1.martcc.com
ns3.martcc.net
ns1.mycitiweb.com
ns2.martcc.com

(Some domain registration companies only provide two name server field. You should enter ns1.martcc.com and ns3.martcc.net)

2. Email Accounts:

If you need email accounts for your own domain, you need to order from www.Sportname.com.

3. User Security
Secure access to Admin and change the password immediately. Set up level 2 users if you wish to assign other staff to manage part of your website. (Setup/Admin User Manager)
 
4. Setup - Wizard
Setup Wizard is for the first time website design and layout setup
 
5. Setup - General
Setup your Website Name, Title and Contact Information (Setup/General Setup)

6. Setup - Email
A. When you check the "Allow contact us email", the webmail form is automatically display on the Contact page.
B. Enter the Send to email address to receive the email from the Contact us page.
You still need to setup the Contact us page information.
 
7. Order Setup
A. Change the Order Thanks content and the Order Receipt Header
B. Change the Order Notification Email
C. Change the Order Confirmation Email, From Name, Subject; if you wish the Email confirmation content. Do not change the program code (##ORDERLINK##, ##ORDERNO##, ##CUSTNAME##, ##DATE##, ##STORENAME##) as it will automatically get the order information and send confirmation to customer.
 
8. Member Setup
Set up the auto password recovery information.

9. Shipping Setup
Setup Shipping Carriers and define shipping method and rates (Setup/Shipping)

10. Tax Setup
Check the Tax settings and make sure the tax name, tax rates and State Taxes are correct. (Setup/Tax)
 
11. Payment Setup
Enable your Payment Gateway at Setup/Payment. Paypal is accepting credit cards even your customers are not the Paypal member. If you use Paypal, you have to apply your free account at Paypal.com and input the email address at the Setup/Payment (email address is the account ID).
 
12. Contact us Page information
Add your contact information at contact us page Web/Site Manage/Page Manager/Contact Page Content

13. Home Page Content
Setup your home page content at Web/Site Manage/Page Manager/Main Page Content
 
14. Upload product images
You may create folders to better organize your products (Images & Files)
 
15. Create Categories

16. Create Items/Products

17. Assign products to Categories on each item to display on the website
